Award winning quality Trugs from a Maker that you can trust.

Built to last!

Royal Sussex Traditional Trugs availability is subject to willow supplies being available because of the high demand for cricket bats world-wide making sources scarcer.  See buying pages for the Wealden Traditional Style Sussex Trugs.  These are made using sweet chestnut for the frame and birch wood for the boards and so look very much like the Royal Sussex Traditional Trugs.  We are sourcing willow from alternative suppliers and hope to have good news coming in on that situation soon.  We apologise for the inconvenience caused to customers during this challenging time.  We are restricting the styles of Trug we offer for the time being in order to manage the unwelcome changes being experienced with raw material supplies.

Please Note:  Trugs sent to Norway or Switzerland will incur an additional £20 customs clearance charge for which we will bill you separately.  Norwegian customers will also be required to give their National Identity Number for customs purposes.

Trugs delivered to overseas territories may be subject to import or local sales taxes

Orders for the European Union

Good news!!  We are now listed on Etsy and EBay and Amazon for our three most popular  Wealden Traditional Style Sussex Oval and three Garden Trug Baskets and some of our South Down Contemporary Rother Trugs, which means that Etsy/Ebay/Amazon will usually collect local taxes due in your country at the time of purchasing.  This allows us to now supply a limited number of our Trugs to consumer customers in the European Union.  We will be adding more inventory to our Etsy/Ebay/Amazon programmes soon, including more of the popular South Down Contemporary Garden Trugs.

RETURNS POLICY: Customers must request authorisation to return any Trug, although we cannot accept returns from overseas customers.  Where a Trug is returned after authorisation by the company, we regret that we cannot refund the outward carriage/packing charges and there will be an administration fee for restocking. In the unlikely event of a fault in your Trug (not including knots, etc. on bark) we will collect and replace your Trug after receiving photographic evidence.
Sizing Information: Because our product is handmade from natural materials customers are advised that all sizes given are approximate.  Royal Sussex Trugs are measured externally and South Down Trugs internally.  The difference is because we used to be two separate companies until 1989 and we continued with previous measurement criteria.
