Alfriston and Berwick

Alfriston and Berwick
We have strong links with both Berwick and Alfriston villages in that we had our workshop at Berwick Court Farm for over eight years and we also had the old Bats’ Wing as our retail shop for a couple of years.
Alfriston

Alfriston nestles under the South Downs by the River Cuckmere in the South Downs National Park. It is a beautiful village, full of life and vitality, but with ancient buildings in the village centre and surrounding countryside. Alfriston church is known as the Cathedral of the Downs and there are many restaurants, tea rooms and pubs to choose from. There are lots of events held in the village throughout the year making it a fun place to visit. For more information look at the village website www.alfriston-village.co.uk.
Berwick

Berwick is a small village also nestling under the South Downs in the National Park, being split into the actual village with its cosy pub and the newer village built up around Berwick Station. The village church is exceptional with beautiful murals. Also next to our old workshops and shop is the famous Drusilla’s Zoo www.drusillas.co.uk
