Well Done James!!
Posted on:I have just received some startlingly good news!! It’s not about our Trug Shop this time but the son of Jane Thomas who used to be our Export Sales Manager many moons ago Her son James is autistic and he developed a unique art of making lovely pictures from cut out bits of scratch card. He has made me one of a Trug and I sell cards with this picture in my shop. James now studies at Bradford College, being in his late teens. I am so proud of this lad as he made an eye catching picture of the bridge over the River Nidd at Pately Bridge, with flowers on the bankside. James was awarded Young Champion of the the Year by Britain in Bloom and received his award at the Royal Horticultural Society’s Lindley Hall in London from Baroness Floella Benjamin OBE.
