Weald & Downland Autumn Show

Posted on:

My Craftsman, Mike Church represented us at the Weald & Downland Open Museum’s Autumn Show. Now, Mike is a very talented young man and, apart from making Trugs, he also makes wooded spatulas and butter knives, hand carved wooden spoons, gypsy flowers and he has recently started a new adventure in making split wood baskets. No surprise then that he was awarded Second prize in the Craft Competition for “Item or Woodwork”. Well done Mike!

The show was great and, today, Thursday, some visitors from the show paid a visit to our workshop and bought three Trugs! Thank you folks! The Weald & Downland Museum is a great place to visit and for shows and always attracts a lot of people all year round. If you haven’t been there – go! You won’t be disappointed.
