Triple Gold at Malvern
Posted on:Our last show of the season was the Malvern Autumn Show, which Caleb and I attended. Saturday was a beautifully sunny day with light clouds scudding the otherwise blue sky over the Malvern Hills and there were a lot of visitors enjoying the warm sunshine and their picnics right in front of our stand. Amid the sunshine and good humour we were surprised to have a visit from the competition judges with a Triple Gold Star Award (second highest in the show for a trade stand), which made our day!
It was cold on Sunday with a chill wind, quite different from the Saturday and not so many visitors although we ended up with a successful show. Met another lady who bought her fourth Trug from us – just like the lady we met in Germany! Is there such a thing as a “Trugaholic”? If so, why aren’t there more of you??
Now we are back into the workshop to make the supreme effort to clear the backlog of orders we have in hand. Lots will be being despatched this week!
