Miniature Trugs
Posted on:At Thomas Smith’s we like to think that we are Craftsmen of high quality. At the Stock Gaylard Oak Fair I met a man called John (he doesn’t want his full name shown) who is up there amongst the very best craftsmen I have ever met. He has made two one twelfth scale models of stripped Trugs! You can see how small they are as they nestle in his hand in the attached photograph. Can you imagine having the patience and skill to make such a small Trug? I can tell you from my 30 odd years of experience that they are as perfect as you can get with something of that size. Well done John! Before you ask…… NO he doesn’t want to make any more!!
