BBC Escape to the Country - Trugs now showing in the USA!
Posted on:Well folks, it seems we are becoming increasingly well-known in the good old United States of America. The BBC programme “Escape to the County” is currently airing in the US and we have received several orders as a result.
Two years ago October presenter Jules Hudson visited out workshop to record the programme and it aired in the U.k. in October last year. Jules is handy with green wood working and my (then) apprentice and now Craftsman, Caleb Pimm, guided Jules through making a Trug.
The programme is not currently available to watch on the BBC website but the link is here and it’s in Series 17. The lifespan of these episodes because of global screening is about 10 years! Sure it will be available to see sometime in the not so distant future.
