Working Fish & Sausage Dinner
Posted on:Last night Andy and I were working until 10pm. Andy had already done a hard day’s work in his father-in-law’s garage, so, for some dinner I visited the new fish & chip shop – Willows Fish & Chips – based in the old pharmacy building in Gardner Street in Herstmonceux. The guy who runs it had visited the Trug Shop a year or so ago and so I knew about it in advance. I have to say that the shop is so well designed and has a lovely ambiance. The chips and sausages that I bought were perfect! I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the village. it was busy all the time I was there although the wait for service was not very long. I’ll be back when we work late again! Prices were good and the service was very friendly.
